Here is my strange list;
Tree climbing with ropes,
Sleep high in a tree,
Hammock camping in the rain,
Build a hunting bike trailer,
Stealth camping with light weight gear,
Extreme weather survival fire starting,
Natural plant identification and foraging,
Running barefoot,
Smart phone for GPS, maps, cam, net, music, etc.
Back yard edible gardening,
Build a back yard star gazing bedroom, a covered fire-pit room, and a furnished tree house or loft.
Growing up in Cowlitz County Washington I have learned to live with the rain and enjoy the natural sports of hunting and fishing the region offers.
To be a hunter one needs to be prepared. It is a very physically challenging adventure. I have had so many priceless magical moments stalking deer and elk that hunting has become an addiction. The actual season is short but the sport is year round. In the off season there is scouting, hiking, running, exploring, practicing survival skills, all of which are sports in themselves. If I had a primary interest it would be hunting and most other interests are secondary in preparation for the hunting adventure.

This blog is about my list. I want to create several posts about each list item of which might be interesting to someone else besides me. I hope to learn about non-traditional things other people want to do in this lifetime and perhaps borrow from them and add to my list.
